gabriel + isaac + isabel

Road trip to Anderson to shoot the Berry kids... it involved Dairy Queen so it was well worth it. I'm not finished editing yet, but Ryan's phone is from 1987 and it appears he can't receive photos on it (it might be in a bag that zips, as well). Anyway, here are a few to tide you over. Good work on the cute kids, guys!

rachel + nic | a wedding.

I spent the entire day with Rachel and her rockstar bridesmaids (while I was helping Pete with a wedding). They were a blast. Aren't they just lovely? They play this game called 1-2-3 that I fully intend on teaching my girlfriends.

Just lovely.

I love this photo. She was sitting up on the alter waiting for the formal photos to begin and she was being all kinds of cute.

Nic and his groomsman were solid, too. So fun. They all go way back... and they were committed to enjoying this event!

The happy couple.

The beautiful mother of the bride. This was an amazing moment.

And then there was dancing. A life-changing rendition of the extended version of "Get Me Bodied" was unlike anything I'd ever seen at a wedding. Ah, sisters.

the bruce girls | daisies and cupcakes

Spent part of my day off hanging out with Mallory and Madison doing girly things downtown. First we went to get some flowers... if you're downtown, Watt's Blooming is just lovely. Then, we pigged out at the Flying Cupcake... where you can't go wrong. These girls are part of my second family, and we also spend Thanksgiving and Easter together... but never just a girl's day out.

Oh, and the rockstar giant headbands are compliments of leeleeloo.com. The owner and I have been friends for years, and if you have any kind of girly girls in your life... look her up! And yes, grown ups can rock them, too.

Thanks girls!

corinne + cory | the wedding.

Corinne and Cory's wedding was full of love, laughter (and a few logistical issues). From the story of how they met, to the sock dance at the end, this wedding was ALL about them. It is very clear that they are loved, unconditionally, by their friends and family... and it was wonderful to be able to share in their day. Here are a few images for you to enjoy... in no particular order.

I love this picture.

nick | class of 2011

Spent a few hours with Nick earlier this week... this was the first of two shoots, as we are regrouping in the fall. We had a great time hopping around all over town. Here are just a few...

This is Betty Ford. She belongs to Maggie. That's all I have to say about that.

the grannan family.

Just a few pictures of my evening with the Grannan family. I've known Julie for 100 years, and they asked me to come take a few shots of Fred's big birthday party. All his kids were in town, and he had a blast.

The bounce house was a big hit...
