This is my first attempt at actually shooting buildings. I tend to shoot people because buildings aren't quirky and don't make me laugh... but this wasn't so bad. It was a lovely day... and the clouds were more than cooperative!

brandi carlile + the indianapolis symphony orchestra.
I was so excited to see Brandi Carlile on Friday night perform with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. She is one of my all time favorites... and it was absolutely amazing. If you ever get a chance to see one of your favs with a symphony, do it. Here is one of the girls... please disregard the wine I spilled down the front of my dress :).
While I couldn't find any video, from Friday night's particular performance on youtube, here she is singing the song you'd know (if you only knew one) with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Just amazing.

claire | 9 months.
I heart Claire. This was our second shoot together and I think she is just darling. Her little personality just cracks me up... and I just love taking photos of her (her parents are pretty swell, too). I had such a hard time choosing photos to post... so rest assured there are many more adorable photos where these came from!

This is Tess. She is itty-bitty and awesome... and she was four days old when I took these. She belongs to my girlfriend, Molly. I love them both.
